With the wet spring/summer, a lot of farmers had a hard time baling dry hay so a lot of good, wet wrapped round bales were made. Here is a formula for Converting Hay Prices to Haylage Values.

I am writing this letter with mixed emotions, Dyersville Sales Co Inc will hold it's final hay auction on July 31, 2024. It's been a great 25+ years.
​
I want to thank all the wonderful employees I have had these 25 years. Some who have been here since day one. We would not have been successful without each and everyone of you. Also, I want to thank the buyers and sellers past and present. It has been an honor to serve and work with all of you. I feel there is a need for a hay auction in our area, that's why I'm happy to say Dan & Jodi Helle will be opening Dyersville Hay & Straw Auction two miles south of Dyersville, Their first sale will be August 7th. I will be helping them with the transition.
